To Co-Host the MSN.com Web Series “MOM’S HOMEROOM”

John Peros Casting is looking for TWO OUTGOING MOMS to be part of MSN.com's episodic Web series “MOM’S HOMEROOM,” designed to empower, educate and entertain mothers of today.
One of our host Moms will need to be of Hispanic heritage, with a strong cultural identity, and bilingual. The other Mom will need to be an African-American.
We will select one mom who is fluent in both English and Spanish. The other mom only needs to be fluent in English. We are seeking candidates with a variety of diverse backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.
They will have lived in, or near, an urban center at one point in their lives, and will currently reside in Florida. Ranging in age from mid-20s to late 40s, they will have a strong interest and involvement in helping their kids exceed in school. Working moms and stay-at-home moms are both encouraged to audition.
We are looking for REAL MOMS with a variety of backgrounds. Qualified potential cast members will be fun, informed and educated parents who like to talk and share information, and have strong, informed perspectives on how to help their kids succeed in school. They should also be comfortable sharing their perspectives and experiences online via social media, blogs, etc. Moms do not need to have on-camera experience, but should be comfortable in front of a camera.
All moms must currently have at least one child in school between grades K-6.
Interviews/auditions will be conducted, by appointment only, January 5, 6 & 15 in Orlando. Final interviews will be conducted in Orlando on January 15.
Episodes will be filmed in and around Central Florida, with some travel out of state required.
If selected as one of our moms, compensation is $750.00 per shoot day. Moms must be available for one to two consecutive studio shoot days and one to three location shoot days per quarter. Shoot days may occur over weekends to accommodate professional schedules. There will be seven to 15 shoot days per year.
